VAT Relief applies to certain goods that are brought for personal or domestic use and if you or the person you are buying the product for have any of the following conditions:
- A physical or mental impairment which has a long-term and substantial adverse effect upon his or her ability to carry out everyday activities;
- A condition which the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness.
- A terminally illness.
You will not qualify if you are temporarily disabled or incapacitated, for example, suffering a broken limb.

How do I claim?
You just need to complete the simple VAT Relief declaration at the checkout screen. This can also be done on your behalf by a carer or family member.
How do I know which products are eligible for VAT Relief?
Any products on our website which are eligible will have a VAT relief price on the product page. These products can be purchased at the VAT Relief price.
If we only show one Inc VAT price this means VAT is compulsory for everyone.
Are disabled people automatically exempted from VAT?
No. There is no blanket exemption from VAT for disabled persons.
It is a criminal offense to claim VAT relief if you do not meet the eligibility criteria. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ascertain whether the eligibility criteria are met.
